Are you a Lake County Restaurant looking to boost your business through Shop, Stay & Play?

If so, read on - These are step-by-step instructions to get you started in no time!

If this is too overwhelming, we have Chamber members who can do this work for you - perhaps you can trade them a meal or two for the help?! Just drop us an email to support@shopstayplay.com and we'll have someone connect with you.

What you'll need to get started:

  • A few sentences that describe your business (e.g., what food you offer, what's special about dining at your place, your hours of operation)
  • A descriptive tag line that explains your business in a few words (e.g., "We Serve the Best Burritos in Town!")
  • A picture of your logo, or an image that best illustrates your business (in .jpg format)
  • An Outrageous Deal (see Step 4 below)

Step by Step Instructions for Restaurants:

Open up a second window in your browser. Go to the Shop, Stay & Play website. Watch the videos listed below, pause them after each action step, and perform the action on the Shop, Stay & Play website.

1) Sign up for Shop, Stay & Play

2) Search for your business on Shop, Stay & Play.

2a) If your business already appears, you'll need to claim the business as yours.

2b) If your business is not there, you'll need to add it:

3) Once you've added (or claimed) your business, you can add pictures and more information to your business profile:

Now, the fun part....

4) Create an Outrageous Deal for your business:

The "Outrageous Deals for Restaurants" document mentioned in the above video can be found at the bottom of this forum post. Adapt as you see fit, then, add your deal/s to the Shop, Stay & Play website:

That's it! Remember ALL MARKETING TAKES TIME! You won't see results tomorrow, but repeated exposure to your restaurant through marketing on Shop, Stay & Play and other venues will get people familiar with your brand and taking action when they're ready to.
